I was out for a stroll down Bucks Road earlier today and was surprised to see that InsideOut that cool little gift shop near Christian Road has gone out of business! What a shame. I used to like dropping in there to poke around the cool stuff. I wonder what happened? Maybe they’re just moving? I hope so.
And, strolling a bit further up the road I stopped in a the Terrace Chippie where I was charged the highway robbery price of £4.50 for fish and chips! Can you imagine? How galling! Hey Terrace Chippie owner…you’ve got fried fish and potatoes on offer, not filet mignon and caviar! I had a very lovely sit down meal a the The Bay View Hotel in Port St Mary at the weekend that cost me only a pound more. And it wasn’t served in newspaper either.
I’m pretty sure that’s the second price increase in a year and I’m boycotting the place till they knock at least 60p off the price of an order of fish & chips. Join me! It will be sooooooooooooooo cool if we can make this happen.

Obviously there is no excuse for this sort of daylight robbery, but in defence of all the chippies in middle earth, I do think the price of fish has steadily been going skywards in recent times, which may explain at least a small part of it.
Nick stop being nice. Join the boycott!
haha. fair enough.
