When I started this blog I promised to bring you all what’s new and hot in the Isle of Man. Well, here is a hot news story that you won’t find just anywhere. The BBC reports that someone has stolen a bunch of newlborn piggies right from under the farmer’s nose! Piglet litter stolen in farm raid Talk about a slow news day.
Now, we all know that the Island attracts more than our fair share of celebrities, but has anyone spotted Cruella DaVille in Strand Street? Who would steal a bunch of piggies? Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I ask you?!

They should put “have you seen this pig?” and a recent picture, on the bacon packets. There would be something quite ironic in that.
Hi Candy! You know this past week someone sent me one of the lovely “feel good” email stories. It was about a momma tiger whose was feeding a bunch of piglets whose own momma had parished. They just placed tiger looking “clothing” on the little piggies and momma tiger never new the difference. Hmmmmmmm. I wonder if the missing IOM piggies are the ones in the other story. Coincidence?
I think the real question is who WOULDN’T want to steal a bunch of piglets. They’re so cute, and you can have fresh bacon anytime! Oh dear, I was being insensitive again. Poor piggies.
