Rovers Return

We decided to pop into the Rovers Return on Church Street in Douglas after work last night. I thought it might be a bit of a laff…might see some Coronation Street types, you know. But what a disappointment.  The tiny, dark bar was full of old men smoking and staring; staring and smoking. Yuck!  And the barman didn’t put a lemon in my G&T.  I ask you…how much can a lemon cost?  The loos were way upstairs and hard to find. Then once I got in, there was no TP!After one swifty, we got the heck out of there and headed straight to The Outback.  I won’t be returning to the Rovers Return.
