Well, for a moment I felt like I was 18 anyway. And if Alice Cooper can claim it, I sure as heck can! What a funtastic show last night at the Villa Marina. Mr Cooper and friends took the stage shortly after nine and banged out one great hit after another until 22.40…with no interval…there is still life in the old guy yet.
It was sooooooooooo loud my ears are still ringing. The stage show was a blast featuring a great line up of ghouls and gags including a guillotine stunt and Alice's half-naked daughter (Go get some clothes on…teenagers…what's a Dad to do?) I thought the bass player is a 'very good musician'.
The age profile of the crowd ranged from about 10 to 60 and everyone enjoyed the show. Later, on the Prom, we took the longest-ever ride on The Waltzers… they must have spun us for 10 minutes straight. It took me half an hour to get over the dizziness.
All in all, it was a great night out at the TT Festival. I can't think of a word that rhymes.
